Henk Scholten's late challenge caught a Bergstraat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk Scholten helped the player get up and apologised. Henk Scholten hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Strong Body fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiaan Kolkman having to interfere. Bastiaan Carel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Luijten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Strong Body in the 9th minute of play forced Bergstraat's goalkeeper Christiaan Kolkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jan Luijten took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bastiaan Carel to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th match minute, Heineken Youths was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Koopmans to maneuver through the defense. Karel de Zee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bastiaan Carel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Strong Body in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christiaan Kolkman saved Bergstraat from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Strong Body ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christiaan Kolkman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Karel de Zee came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Bergstraat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karel de Zee couldn't finish the play. Karel de Zee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Bastiaan Carel made a huge save. Karel de Zee's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Bastiaan Carel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Bergstraat booed when Heineken Youths was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Koopmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th match minute, Bergstraat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Visscher to maneuver through the defense. Christiaan Kolkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Strong Body in the 35th minute of play. Bastiaan Carel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Luijten in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Karel de Zee had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bastiaan Carel. Heineken Youths's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karel de Zee was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 46th minute Boukjan van Dongen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiaan Kolkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karel de Zee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bastiaan Carel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Strong Body made the kick off in the second half. Evert van der Struijk hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Youri Mik struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Christiaan Kolkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heineken Youths. A collision led to Heineken Youths getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ralph Koopmans hit a great ball. The nice shot from Strong Body in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Christiaan Kolkman had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Bastiaan Carel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Luijten in the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Heineken Youths's goalkeeper Bastiaan Carel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute Karel de Zee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastiaan Carel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Heineken Youths's Boukjan van Dongen in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bastiaan Carel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel de Zee, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 96th minute, Jan Luijten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bergstraat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Bergstraat's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
