In the 16th match minute, Wadwaai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Han Venema to maneuver through the defense. Hans Meijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rick Rinzema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Wadwaai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Meijs came free, but Rick Rinzema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Ranzijn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Roelof Hesseling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Meijs might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rick Rinzema. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Meijs ran back to his position shaking his head. Rick Rinzema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Meijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Defender Red Bull2.1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastiaan Middeljans to maneuver through the defense. Wadwaai FC's Kenneth Theissen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. After 42 minutes Wadwaai FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastiaan Middeljans who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Defender Red Bull2.1's Sebastiaan Middeljans to fire away a dangerous shot which Rick Rinzema despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 45th minute, Hans Meijs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defender Red Bull2.1 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rick Rinzema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Alards in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match, Hans Meijs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rick Rinzema was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. It was a well-played corner which Renārs Mandeiķis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hans Meijss short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Rick Rinzema to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Hans Pluijm put in a rough tackle. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wadwaai FC! Wadwaai FC:s Rick Rinzema showed great skill when he stopped Marick Lammers:s penalty. Wadwaai FC's Rick Rinzema proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Wadwaai FC from getting a goal against them. If Hans Meijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rick Rinzema didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Meijs went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the game, Defender Red Bull2.1's Hans Meijs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rick Rinzema made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. When the match was over Defender Red Bull2.1 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wadwaai FC throughout the match.
