The Suttum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daan Robben should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Suttum FC booed when Stevensbeek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Witters didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Dick Trenning put in a rough tackle. In the 16th minute, one of Suttum FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Suttum FC. Bernard Witters spun around in front of the goal 23 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Suttum FC's goal. Gerjan Mos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerjan Mos struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. David van Putten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suttum FC. If Gerjan Mos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Ulises Vimaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stevensbeek FC's David van Putten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulises Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David van Putten having to interfere. In the 39th minute Michel Ellerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daan Robben saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Maurits van der Bij who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suttum FC's Daan Robben was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Stevensbeek FC booed when Suttum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerjan Mos didn't get a good kick on the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Vimaro to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ulises Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suttum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Vimaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David van Putten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerjan Mos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Vimaro in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Stevensbeek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suttum FC the free kick. Daan Robben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Witters, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurits van der Bij in the 84th minute of play forced Suttum FC's goalkeeper Daan Robben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Vimaro in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David van Putten saved Stevensbeek FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Ellerman in the 93rd minute of play forced Suttum FC's goalkeeper Daan Robben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Suttum FC's goalkeeper Daan Robben had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Ellerman. Although Suttum FC had been in control for most of the match, Stevensbeek FC still came away with the win.
