The AJAX AMSTERDAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arjan van Zijp during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute of the match, Levi De Vaddere tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mario Klompe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levi De Vaddere in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Klompe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Henry Lembeck got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Levi De Vaddere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Daniël De Leeuw. Lazarus Mangope kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes AJAX AMSTERDAM's Lazarus Mangope stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Mario Klompe stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Zijdewind SC of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franck Tinge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. During this time AJAX AMSTERDAM's players had a chance to rest. 76 minutes into the match, AJAX AMSTERDAM's goalkeeper Antony Warnier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdi Dekens. Jos Maseland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Levi De Vaddere in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Klompe saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. Antony Warnier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Dekens in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Levi De Vaddere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazarus Mangope scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Klompe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Derk Scheer's late challenge caught a Zijdewind SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derk Scheer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AJAX AMSTERDAM's Derk Scheer got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ferdi Dekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Warnier having to interfere. AJAX AMSTERDAM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
