In the 7th minute, Marc van Nistelrooij made a precise shot to the right of Ronald Baaijen. Eindhoven Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bram Kiewit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niek Rijaard in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc van Nistelrooij in the 18th minute of play forced Eindhoven Sport Club's goalkeeper Ronald Baaijen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Siekierka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ronald Baaijen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leoncio Cea kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Nafarroa got free with Bram Kiewit in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 44th minute, but Bram Kiewit got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Fargo SC hanging dry this time. Bram Kiewit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Joost Roodenburg in the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fargo SC's Casper Tinselboer got a free kick in the 47th minute. Casper Tinselboer hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yasin Yasin to strike the kick off in the second half. Reinhard von Wangenheim charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinhard von Wangenheim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fargo SC booed when Eindhoven Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard von Wangenheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Eindhoven Sport Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Casper Tinselboer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fargo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc van Nistelrooij was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Tinselboer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 98 minutes into the match. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fargo SC! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fargo SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
