Spectators: 8094 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yasin Yasin started the match with the kick off. Ronald Baaijen came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Stevensbeek FC's Michel Ellerman. But to his dismay, Michel Ellerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Stevensbeek FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kristian Eringa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Stevensbeek FC's Wilfred Schuttrup got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Arif Egemen Durna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David van Putten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stevensbeek FC's David van Putten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Egemen Durna in the 11th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Michel Ellerman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eindhoven Sport Club's Ronald Baaijen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Yasin Yasin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David van Putten. Yasin Yasin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 27 played minutes Stevensbeek FC got a freekick which was hit by Koos Krijnenburg. 31 minutes into the game, Wilfred Schuttrup cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ronald Baaijen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elmar Schaars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Stevensbeek FC got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Eringa. Stevensbeek FC's David van Putten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Joost Roodenburg in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Ellerman to make the kick off. Yasin Yasin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilfred Schuttrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abraham Wansink during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Joost Roodenburg in the 69th minute of play forced Stevensbeek FC's goalkeeper David van Putten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David van Putten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasin Yasin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Ellerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ronald Baaijen made a huge save. Jan-Joost Roodenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David van Putten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasin Yasin, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Demy Kamps kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Yasin Yasin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. David van Putten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Michel Ellerman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stevensbeek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eindhoven Sport Club the free kick. The supporters of Eindhoven Sport Club booed when Stevensbeek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Ellerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niek Rijaard took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David van Putten. David van Putten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Eindhoven Sport Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
