After 21 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Gertjan van Damme. In the 24th minute, Pieter Theissen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Pascal Bults's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leendert Borg was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waclaw Poremba in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leendert Borg saved Albertus FC from getting behind. MK Investments were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Albertus FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domenik Hoffhuis took the corner. After taking down the ball on MK Investments's corner Pascal Bults fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leendert Borg quite easily take care of the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Waclaw Poremba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albertus FC's Leendert Borg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes, Pieter Theissen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albertus FC and the MK Investments players grew even worse after the yellow card. MK Investments's Augusto Soeiro was substituted for Jimmie Cai. Leendert Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Poremba, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waclaw Poremba to make the kick off. Waclaw Poremba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Bults in the 82nd minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Leendert Borg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertus FC's Leendert Borg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Albertus FC from getting a goal against them. The corner led MK Investments's Tibau De Jaeger to fire away a dangerous shot which Leendert Borg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
