Spectators: 8200 (Terracing: 6150, Seating: 1886, VIP seats: 164) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Charis Mantalakis started the match with the kick off. A collision led to afc champs getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ronny Dussel hit a great ball. Gigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Warman de Jager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Pieter Theissen. In the 18th match minute, afc champs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witalis Blicharz to maneuver through the defense. afc champs's Gigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Mantalakis in the 19th minute of play. Gigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter Theissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrea Di Tullio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play, Albertus FC's Pieter Theissen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gigi Donnarumma was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jochem Wijnands came free, but Leendert Borg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertus FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Bolli Bompastor scored to the left of an out of position Leendert Borg, making the score, 2-2. The afc champs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Albertus FC were winning 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bolli Bompastor to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Olivér Dobránszky mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the afc champs and the Albertus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes afc champs got a freekick which was hit by Olivér Dobránszky. 52 minutes into the match, afc champs's goalkeeper Gigi Donnarumma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charis Mantalakis. Klaas Jan Kramer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leendert Borg having to make a save. Leendert Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolli Bompastor, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Albertus FC's Jan Knops got a free kick in the 57th minute. When afc champs's Bolli Bompastor in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice moves Charis Mantalakis could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Gigi Donnarumma however easily saved by the left post. Gigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Warman de Jager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Knops took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigi Donnarumma. Gigi Donnarumma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After some careless play in the Albertus FC defense, Jochem Wijnands kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leendert Borg. The Albertus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leendert Borg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warman de Jager in the 80th minute of play forced afc champs's goalkeeper Gigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Warman de Jager rounded afc champs's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-6. When Gertjan van Damme fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albertus FC's protests and gave Gertjan van Damme a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Albertus FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gertjan van Damme hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Pieter Theissen took a quick shot and it went in 3-7 without a chance for Gigi Donnarumma to make any attempt to save it. Gertjan van Damme hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The afc champs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Albertus FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
