Spectators: 8486 (Terracing: 6366, Seating: 1951, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Herman Mussies took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Stekelenburg in the 3rd minute of play forced The Young Ones's goalkeeper Sonny Trulsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Txaran in the 4th minute of play forced The Young Ones's goalkeeper Sonny Trulsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th match minute, The Young Ones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Bouwman to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Antonio Txaran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sonny Trulsson was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 7th play minutes Antonio Txaran shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sonny Trulsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Sonny Trulsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Txaran in the 12th minute of the match. Sonny Trulsson came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Telgt's Ronny Waidijk. But to his dismay, Ronny Waidijk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 21 minutes of play, Telgt's Benigno Shantala made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Trulsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Benigno Shantala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Trulsson. The Young Ones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Shantala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Antonio Txaran took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Trulsson. Sonny Trulsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Telgt's Antonio Txaran in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Young Ones's goalie prevented a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Ricky Ridder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Trulsson. The Young Ones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricky Ridder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Johannes Bette charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Bette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Young Ones's Johannes Bette got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Benigno Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telgt's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Shantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny Trulsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Benigno Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Txaran to strike the kick off in the second half. Sonny Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sonny Trulsson was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Benigno Shantala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benigno Shantala really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Telgt made a substitution. Ralf Zeydeveld replaced Nikos Kissas. In the 61st minute, Ricky Ridder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Txaran in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Trulsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sonny Trulsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Shantala in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Stekelenburg got free with Sonny Trulsson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Txaran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Sonny Trulsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, The Young Ones's Sonny Trulsson got control of the ball when Antonio Txaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. With splendid footwork Antonio Txaran arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-12 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. When the final whistle sounded Telgt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Young Ones.
