Niels Rooy took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damiano Melfi. Damiano Melfi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 16th minute The Maquis were awarded a corner. Oliver Smit went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led The Maquis's Oliver Smit to fire away a dangerous shot which Damiano Melfi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Niels Rooy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Damiano Melfi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Maquis's Walther Jano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shoval Diggs in the 21st minute of play. Damiano Melfi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niels Rooy, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Niels Rooy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, The Maquis's Damiano Melfi threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niels Rooy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Niels Rooy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes The Maquis got a freekick which was hit by Marco Walregt. Walther Jano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sheldon Cooper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Niels Rooy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Melfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Niels Rooy rounded Sheep United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Niels Rooy might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Melfi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niels Rooy ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels Rooy in the 45th minute of play forced Sheep United's goalkeeper Damiano Melfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sheep United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vicente Odon hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Niels Rooy made a precise shot to the right of Damiano Melfi. Sheep United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 59 minutes into the match, Niels Rooy notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Sheep United's Damiano Melfi. Damiano Melfi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, Niels Rooy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Melfi. Sheep United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niels Rooy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niels Rooy in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damiano Melfi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute José Antonio Parra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Jano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sheep United's Damiano Melfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels Rooy in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, The Maquis's Niels Rooy made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damiano Melfi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, The Maquis's Niels Rooy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Melfi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sheep United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Maquis.
