Damiano Melfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacco Klijnstra in the 4th minute of play. Nathan van Aalderen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damiano Melfi made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Kevin Arnolds sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jacco Klijnstra sped through Sheep United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damiano Melfi. The corner led to Bierunese's Stefan Wotte getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 26th minute, Kevin Arnolds fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Damiano Melfi, passed just outside the right post. In the 27th minute José Antonio Parra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Kamps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damiano Melfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Arnolds in the 29th minute of the match. Kevin Arnolds could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Damiano Melfi made a huge save. After 36 minutes, Shoval Diggs made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bierunese's Werner Kamps tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Werner Kamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Antonio Parra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sheep United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Antonio Parra in the 41st minute. Sheep United's José Antonio Parra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Werner Kamps in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Bierunese getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rein Stroeve hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shoval Diggs in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Werner Kamps prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Kevin Arnolds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Arnolds was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shoval Diggs in the 52nd minute of play forced Bierunese's goalkeeper Werner Kamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Bierunese's Werner Kamps got control of the ball when Shoval Diggs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Werner Kamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shoval Diggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 73rd match minute, Sheep United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shoval Diggs to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Shoval Diggs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bierunese's Werner Kamps was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sheep United's Shoval Diggs got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Bierunese's Nathan van Aalderen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Melfi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
