Elbert Haar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Hugon Wolicki got a free kick in the 19th minute. Elbert Haar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorn Krommert, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Elbert Haar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Bueno in the 23rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, Pannekoeken's Haroldo Weather made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niek Kiewit was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Bueno came free, but Elbert Haar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elbert Haar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Jorn Krommert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With an all-out effort, Overschie's Elbert Haar threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorn Krommert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 84 minutes into the game, Pannekoeken's Haroldo Weather nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niek Kiewit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Overschie's Niek Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Weather in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Overschie's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Weather came free, but Niek Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pannekoeken players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
