Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Weather in the 10th minute of play. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Hilhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Weather in the 16th minute of the match. After 24 minutes Verwachting's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernando Geraets who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Matias Foyo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ham Kaas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Hilhorst having to interfere. Christijan Schreuder's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elbert Haar firmly grabbed it by the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Twan Hesseling was the one to do the kick off. Elbert Haar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Twan Hesseling in the 51st minute of the match. Ham Kaas hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Haroldo Weather who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ham Kaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Herbert Hilhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Jan Zenden got a free kick in the 66th minute. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Weather, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Haroldo Weather recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herbert Hilhorst. Haroldo Weather showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Ham Kaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Herbert Hilhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Pannekoeken's Haroldo Weather nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Hilhorst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Pannekoeken defense, Twan Hesseling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elbert Haar. The Pannekoeken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elbert Haar should have stopped the shot. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Twan Hesseling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Haroldo Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pannekoeken's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Weather was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Hilhorst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Verwachting supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pannekoeken's performance. The match ended with a win for Pannekoeken.
