Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juan Ayuso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Herbert Hilhorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Hilhorst in the 8th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Van de Poel. In the 21st minute of the match Decathlon Dudes got a corner. Verwachting's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luuk Theunissen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Decathlon Dudes's Luuk Theunissen to fire away a dangerous shot which Herbert Hilhorst despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th minute, Harmen Hilkes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Decathlon Dudes's zone, Christijan Schreuder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Sousa came out of the goal and Christijan Schreuder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Twan Hesseling scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute of the game Jonas Vingegaard made a throw-in which Simon Hilhorst played forward. Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Decathlon Dudes from getting a goal against them. César Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Twan Hesseling in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Twan Hesseling made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Twan Hesseling in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César Sousa saved Decathlon Dudes from getting behind. Verwachting were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Decathlon Dudes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adriaan Kuypers took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Adriaan Kuypers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this César Sousa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Decathlon Dudes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adriaan Kuypers was slow to take the kick. During this time Verwachting's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Verwachting's Adriaan Kuypers to fire away a dangerous shot which César Sousa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Decathlon Dudes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adriaan Kuypers was slow to take the kick. During this time Verwachting's players had a chance to rest. César Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christijan Schreuder, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Harmen Hilkes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Wilco Keldermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Wilco Keldermans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst got control of the ball when Juan Ayuso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilco Keldermans kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. César Sousa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Verwachting's Twan Hesseling shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 80th minute of play. If Simon Hilhorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan Hesseling in the 95th minute of play. Verwachting's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
