The audience thought a goal was coming when Napoleon Gollob got free with Mirko Vervoort in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Knollenveld FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Moorlag came free, but Adrian Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Jakobsson having to interfere. In the 20th minute Benjamin Moorlag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Benjamin Moorlag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Jakobsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 41st minute of the match Knollenveld FC got a corner. Mijdrecht Maffia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Napoleon Gollob ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Benjamin Moorlag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Adrian Jakobsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juvenal Vaz went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Adrian Jakobsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Moorlag's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Juvenal Vaz in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adrian Jakobsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Benjamin Moorlag put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Adrian Jakobsson. Mirko Vervoort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Vives, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ate Veninga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Jakobsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play.
