In the 3rd minute Edgardo Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriaan Boekholt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriaan Boekholt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Ermano in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Grep in the 11th minute of play forced VV Succes's goalkeeper Dante Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Moleneindse Boys booed when VV Succes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Cremers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, VV Succes's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Gay came free, but Dante Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Grep in the 21st minute of play forced VV Succes's goalkeeper Dante Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Teuws's late challenge caught a VV Succes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Teuws helped the player get up and apologised. Adriaan Boekholt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Ermano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Grep made a kick off. Arboleda Galdia took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Ixaka. Dante Ixaka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 56 minutes into the match, FC Moleneindse Boys's goalkeeper Adriaan Boekholt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mirko van Kempen. 60 minutes into the match, FC Moleneindse Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Pio came free, but Adriaan Boekholt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arboleda Galdia in the 61st minute of the match. The VV Succes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Ixaka should have stopped the shot. Mario Teuws got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to FC Moleneindse Boys getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mario Teuws hit a great ball. FC Moleneindse Boys's Adriaan Boekholt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC Moleneindse Boys from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, VV Succes's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Grep came free, but Dante Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Moleneindse Boys's Arboleda Galdia got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Moleneindse Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
