Artemio Domenech had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Wilco Heida's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Daamen in the 10th minute of play forced Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Jan de Boer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 14 played minutes Boca Gregorian Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Wilfried Westerhof. Artemio Domenech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjen de Boer in the 23rd minute of play. Artemio Domenech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folker Diggele in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Arjen de Boer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Domenech was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Artemio Domenech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilco Heida in the 28th minute of play. If Sébastien Haller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gerard Daamen made the kick off in the second half. Jan de Boer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Daamen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Boca Gregorian Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Arjen de Boer came free, but Artemio Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Marco Bos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artemio Domenech. The goal made the score 1-3. With a little luck, Boca Gregorian Juniors's Artemio Domenech got control of the ball when Henk van Zwieten tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Sons of Strategy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boca Gregorian Juniors throughout the match.
