Arjen de Boer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Jan de Boer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Vives in the 12th minute of the match. Henk van Zwieten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Adrian Jakobsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Knollenveld FC's Adrian Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Pool in the 16th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Henk van Zwieten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Jakobsson. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Jan de Boer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Audun Richardsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilco Heida in the 39th minute of play forced Knollenveld FC's goalkeeper Adrian Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Vincent Abbenbroek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Sons of Strategy's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Gollob came free, but Jan de Boer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Napoleon Gollob notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer. Adrian Jakobsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of Knollenveld FC booed when Sons of Strategy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Pool didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Sons of Strategy's Wilco Heida made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Jakobsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th match minute, Knollenveld FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Gollob to maneuver through the defense. Karsten van Harten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Napoleon Gollob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jan de Boer made a huge save. Wilco Heida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sons of Strategy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
