Billy de Jager kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of VV Succes booed when Flashdynamica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucien Pietersma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hendrik-Jan Krommert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Job Roeles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Pio in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Mirko van Kempen came free, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mirko van Kempen to make the kick off. Dante Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Zalm in the 61st minute of the match. Flashdynamica's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
