Spectators: 10841 (Terracing: 8132, Seating: 2493, VIP seats: 216) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Piearres Olalla got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Mike Zoetmulder managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 12 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Huub Gerrits came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huub Gerrits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, The Underdogs's Mike Zoetmulder threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Piearres Olalla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th minute Mathias de Ruijter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erben Roelofs kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piearres Olalla in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mike Zoetmulder saved De Pelgrims from getting behind. Mike Zoetmulder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piearres Olalla went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Hațegan came free, but Mike Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piearres Olalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mike Zoetmulder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Olalla in the 44th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes, De Pelgrims's Fu Peng Feng shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Wessel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De Pelgrims reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Perivaldo Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. Mike Zoetmulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Mike Zoetmulder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Hațegan in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Zoetmulder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Underdogs made a substitution. Riemer Fries replaced Frank de Boer. 68 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Montrel Perpiñán came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Mathias de Ruijter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Zoetmulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Olalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erben Roelofs to maneuver through the defense. Mathias de Ruijter took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Wessel. Jan Wessel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 80th minute, De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Wessel. Jan Wessel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias de Ruijter in the 84th minute of play. After 89 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Erben Roelofs. Mike Zoetmulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. De Pelgrims's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
