In the 7th minute, Tomasz Resel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lemel SV's Lin Hong Song played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex de Rudder in the 10th minute of play. Dennis Beerthuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Konradsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Konradsson in the 17th minute of the match. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Konradsson in the 26th minute of play. Manfred Konradsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Beerthuis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Lin Hong Song was a little too slow when Jacobus Lubbers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Konradsson in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Delmiro Otoniel got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Petroni to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jacobus Lubbers could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Lin Hong Song however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Manfred Konradssons short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Dennis Beerthuis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Lemel SV's Dennis Beerthuis threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manfred Konradsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute, Alex de Rudder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ettore Petroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Winthont FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Dennis Bergkamp scored to the left of an out of position Dennis Beerthuis, making the score, 1-1. Dennis Bergkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Dennis Beerthuis made a huge save. Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Bergkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lemel SV's goalkeeper Lin Hong Song, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well done corner resulted in Leandro Hoffmann drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Lemel SV's goalkeeper. Ettore Petroni kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Bergkamp. Dennis Beerthuis made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Dennis Bergkamp sent off a good shot on target. Tomasz Resel made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Claudio Caniggia. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Winthont FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Lemel SV for much of the match.
