After a rather tough play, SV Balverliefd's Jimmy Stenberg got a free kick in the 10th minute. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ni Jun Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Steven Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Schmidt in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laurens Roelfs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yorrick Zoethout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes Nenger de Penger FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Tavio.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steven Homan was the one to do the kick off. When Steven Homan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the SV Balverliefd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Homan couldn't finish the play. Jyrki Kujanpää's late challenge caught a Nenger de Penger FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
