Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex de Rudder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex de Rudder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Beerthuis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martijn August's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Kjellman in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Harvey Davies had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex de Rudder. 23 minutes into the match, Artur Mendes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis. Dennis Beerthuis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Harvey Davies made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Norino in the 30th minute. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Mendes in the 34th minute of play. Winthont FC's Jan Tevreden quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cobus Harding, made in the 35th minute of the game. In the 44th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martijn August in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Beerthuis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dennis Beerthuis came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bal op het Dak's Martijn August. But to his dismay, Martijn August quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn was substituted for Martijn August. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Joop Meder replaced Shaq Francis.

Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Kjellman in the 55th minute of the match. In the 61st play minute Iwan Valentijn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dennis Beerthuis. 0-3. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Norino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Joop Meder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joop Meder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Winthont FC's Kadim Argun was substituted for Alex de Rudder. Winthont FC made a substitution. Jacobus Lubbers replaced Gert Jan van Westerop. Dennis Beerthuis made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Iwan Valentijn sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Kjellman in the 77th minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marcel Wilson hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Iwan Valentijn made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Dan Kjellman's late challenge caught a Winthont FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Kjellman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dan Kjellman hit a great ball. Dan Kjellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Beerthuis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. With a little luck, Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis got control of the ball when Iwan Valentijn tried to sneak it across the goal line.
