Spectators: 6881 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 0) Kenneth Cassar White started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Binġemma's Fiobian Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Vassallo in the 17th minute of play. Fiobian Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Vassallo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Etienne Amato Gauci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FALCONERS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Binġemma's Kurt Mizzi got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 39th minute Etienne Amato Gauci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiobian Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Etienne Amato Gauci in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fiobian Flores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Binġemma's goal looked a bit too open when Etienne Amato Gauci came free, but Fiobian Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Mulè's late challenge caught a FALCONERS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Mulè helped the player get up and apologised. If Thomas Engerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half FALCONERS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Etienne Amato Gauci made a kick off. Nils Söderqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Cassar White in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Binġemma's goal looked a bit too open when Etienne Amato Gauci came free, but Fiobian Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Söderqvist came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Binġemma's Kenneth Cassar White. But to his dismay, Kenneth Cassar White quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 70th minute, Tommy Vassallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fiobian Flores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After having played for 79 minutes, Björn Polster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FALCONERS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Polster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FALCONERS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rosario Worley hit a great ball. Oliver Mulè was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When Julian Galea fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Binġemma's protests and gave Julian Galea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Binġemma getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Julian Galea hit a great ball. When Tommy Vassallo fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FALCONERS's protests and gave Tommy Vassallo a yellow card for diving instead. Tommy Vassallo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Kurt Du Puis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Binġemma's Fiobian Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Amato Gauci in the 95th minute of play. Binġemma's Fiobian Flores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Binġemma from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded FALCONERS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Binġemma.
