When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Triganz made a kick off. When Steve Musu came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the High Ridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Musu couldn't finish the play. Birkirkara Youngsters's Andrea Cefai got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Cuschieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Cuschieri succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 81st minute of the match Richard Ebejer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jake Attard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 82 played minutes High Ridge got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Cuschieri. In the 89th match minute, Birkirkara Youngsters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dyson Mifsud to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Andrea Cefai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ben Haber was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
