Spectators: 6873 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1873, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicholas Micallef kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Harry Risso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alex Mumford to make any attempt to save it. Nicholas Micallef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleaven Salinos having to interfere. John Mary Denaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Mumford came out and tried to block the shot, but John Mary Denaro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute Harry Risso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Mumford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleaven Salinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Micallef in the 18th minute of the match. Buġibba's Cleaven Salinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Micallef in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Pierre Mumford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Buġibba's Harry Risso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Mumford narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Harry Risso made the kick off in the second half. Pierre Savona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buġibba's Cleaven Salinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Micallef in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Nicholas Micallef had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleaven Salinos. Buġibba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicholas Micallef was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Harry Risso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry Risso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Mumford having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Leon Tonna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Mumford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Risso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicholas Micallef in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleaven Salinos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Marsa whitestars's Terence Testaferrata Moroni Viani got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Terence Testaferrata Moroni Viani during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Terence Testaferrata Moroni Viani hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Marsa whitestars's Pierre Savona got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buġibba's goalkeeper Cleaven Salinos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Pickard kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Marsa whitestars's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Risso came free, but Alex Mumford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Harry Risso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Mumford was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Alex Mumford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Risso, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buġibba had won after a very even match.
