Spectators: 6874 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 0) Rabat Ajax F.C.'s Stephan Pace started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Jonathan Refalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Trampi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Refalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When AC Trampi's Alexander Cilia in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rabat Ajax F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Jonathan Refalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Bigeni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Refalo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 14 played minutes Rabat Ajax F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mario Briffa. After 15 played minutes, AC Trampi's Paul Lowell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dennis Bigeni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Trampi reached it. After 16 minutes, Mario Briffa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rabat Ajax F.C. and the AC Trampi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AC Trampi booed when Rabat Ajax F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Briffa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, AC Trampi's Alexander Cilia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Bigeni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Bigeni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Refalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dennis Bigeni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Refalo in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Rabat Ajax F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Refalo came free, but Dennis Bigeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Alexander Cilia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Bigeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Bigeni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Refalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Refalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Rabat Ajax F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Refalo came free, but Dennis Bigeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Refalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Bigeni having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Rabat Ajax F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Cilia came free, but Dennis Bigeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Cilia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Bigeni having to make a save. Martin Testa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Paul Lowell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Trampi and the Rabat Ajax F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Paul Lowell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Cilia made a kick off. Dennis Bigeni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Cilia in the 51st minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, AC Trampi's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Pace came free, but Kyle Jaccarini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephan Pace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Jaccarini having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, AC Trampi's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Testa came free, but Kyle Jaccarini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Bigeni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Cilia in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Stephan Pace managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabat Ajax F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Stephan Pace was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyle Jaccarini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Alexander Cilia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Bigeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rabat Ajax F.C.'s Mario Briffa got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Jonathan Refalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Testa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rabat Ajax F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
