Spectators: 6858 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 0) Adam Monreal made the kick off and thus started the match. Michele Sansone kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. James Carbonese came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Kemmuna Spartans's Oliver Dawes. But to his dismay, Oliver Dawes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kemmuna Spartans were furious when Ben Ferrando was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 11 played minutes Kemmuna Spartans got a freekick which was hit by Ben Ferrando. Gerard Gregory was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, John Paul Bucello notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kemmuna Spartans's Jayden Walshaw. Jayden Walshaw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 19 minutes, Michele Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gżira Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michele Sansone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes Gżira Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Ephrem Avellino. In the 21st minute of the match Benoir Decesare sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but James Carbonese skillfully saved the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Gżira Steelers's Michele Sansone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jayden Walshaw made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Kemmuna Spartans's zone, Michele Sansone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayden Walshaw came out of the goal and Michele Sansone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jayden Walshaw came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Gżira Steelers's Michele Sansone. But to his dismay, Michele Sansone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Oliver Dawes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michele Sansone in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jayden Walshaw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Kemmuna Spartans's zone, Gerard Gregory stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayden Walshaw came out of the goal and Gerard Gregory tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Michele Sansone made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Keith Santucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jayden Walshaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Kemmuna Spartans's goal looked a bit too open when John Paul Bucello came free, but Jayden Walshaw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match, Michele Sansone got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jayden Walshaw was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 62nd minute, Michele Sansone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michele Sansone struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jayden Walshaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gżira Steelers. Michele Sansone scored 1-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jayden Walshaw, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jayden Walshaw made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michele Sansone in the 81st minute. Michele Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayden Walshaw having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Gżira Steelers's Michele Sansone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jayden Walshaw made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. In the 95th minute Oliver Dawes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Carbonese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gżira Steelers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
