The San Gwann FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raphael Anastasi should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, San Gwann FC's Alex Camenzuli got a free kick in the 12th minute. Cleaven Denaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Raphael Anastasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Xandru Accardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Anastasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Cleaven Denaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cleaven Denaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael Anastasi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Christophoro to strike the kick off in the second half. Cleaven Denaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Testaferrata Viani hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Gwann FC's zone, Cleaven Denaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Anastasi came out of the goal and Cleaven Denaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes San Gwann FC got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Avellino. Raphael Anastasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleaven Denaro in the 90th minute. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Xandru Accardo sped through San Gwann FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raphael Anastasi. Eleven Wonders played a much better game than San Gwann FC and deserved their victory. The San Gwann FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
