Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brandon Tedesco kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Franco Delia made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ryan Laus sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Portuguesa Maltesa's Ryan Laus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Delia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Joshua Preca took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Franco Delia to make any attempt to save it. Franco Delia was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Carlo Esposito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlo Esposito really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Giovanni Sacco's late challenge caught a Santa Venera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Sacco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Portuguesa Maltesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Sacco to maneuver through the defense. Pierre Tanti struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Steve Grech Cumbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Venera. 32 minutes into the game, Ryan Laus lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Franco Delia. Ryan Laus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Santa Venera's Stephan Amaira got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ryan Laus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Delia came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Portuguesa Maltesa's Adrian Cioffi. But to his dismay, Adrian Cioffi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Ryan Laus in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franco Delia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 44 minutes of play, Portuguesa Maltesa's Jake Drago made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Delia was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryan Laus made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Ryan Laus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Delia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Venera's zone, Jake Drago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Delia came out of the goal and Jake Drago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Delia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Laus, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Ryan Laus made a precise shot to the right of Franco Delia. Santa Venera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portuguesa Maltesa's goalkeeper Steve Grech Cumbo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 minutes, Ryan Laus made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Santa Venera's Franco Delia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Ryan Laus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Franco Delia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Portuguesa Maltesa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
