Franco Delia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Teuma Castelletti went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Pierre Tanti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Venera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Roberto Teuma Castelletti notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Santa Venera's Franco Delia. Franco Delia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan Duca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Tanti in the 24th minute of play. If Jonathan Scriha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
