Anton Abdilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Borg during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to San Alwigi getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Anton Borg hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 61 minutes of play San Alwigi's Anton Borg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Anton Abdilla struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Karl Mugliett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C RossoNero. If Ryan Simiana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoine Manchè charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
