When Amadeo Brincat came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Les diables de Chamonix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Brincat couldn't finish the play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Evan Felice who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drac Juve's Kenneth Briffa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Les diables de Chamonix's Amadeo Brincat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Briffa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kenneth Briffa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaun Haber in the 46th minute of the match. Kenneth Briffa was a little too slow when Shaun Haber got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-4. 88 minutes into the match, Shaun Haber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Briffa. Drac Juve's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shaun Haber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 92 minutes of play, Drac Juve's Anton Sapiano made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Curmi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
