In the 8th minute, Kenneth Mugliett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tim Dimech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marsa FC's Tim Dimech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Mugliett in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Kenneth Mugliett notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Marsa FC's Tim Dimech. Tim Dimech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Kenneth Mugliett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Dimech was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Marsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when M. After 54 played minutes Marsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Bjorn Pace Bonello. In the 54th minute of the match Joseph Montanaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Dimech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 61 minutes of play Marsa FC's Jake Montebello was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Marsa FC's Jake Montebello got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A hard shot 67 in the game by M. Ikhsan Mangkulangit from a close distance when the talented Tim Dimech managed to make a qualified save. Marsa FC's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Mugliett got free with Tim Dimech in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Marsa FC's Tim Dimech got control of the ball when Kenneth Mugliett tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Calderon Stars booed when Marsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregory Xriha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match, Tommy Salerno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tim Dimech saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Mugliett got free with Tim Dimech in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tim Dimech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Mugliett in the 82nd minute. Justin Micallef's late challenge caught a Calderon Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justin Micallef helped the player get up and apologised. 91 minutes into the game, one of Marsa FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match was over Calderon Stars could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marsa FC throughout the match.
