John Gulia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the game, Victoria's 石翀斌 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Gulia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Emanuel Avellino sped through Bianconeri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of John Gulia. In the 23rd minute Emanuel Avellino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Gulia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fredrik Hylander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving John Gulia. That made the score 7-0 in the 25 minute of play. John Gulia made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Dennis Flask sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Avellino scored 8-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Gulia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Avellinos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got John Gulia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34th minute Victoria were awarded a corner. Emanuel Avellino went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Victoria's Emanuel Avellino to fire away a dangerous shot which John Gulia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bianconeri's zone, Emanuel Avellino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Gulia came out of the goal and Emanuel Avellino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Cauchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Francalanza in the 39th minute of play. John Gulia made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Emanuel Avellino sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Yuan Cheng got free with John Gulia in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Bianconeri's David Mintoff got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Emanuel Avellino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of John Gulia, passed just outside the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jason Francalanza was the one to do the kick off. John Gulia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 石翀斌 in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Bianconeri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Gerada to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Hylander scored 11-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Gulia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Emanuel Avellino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John Gulia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Avellino in the 69th minute of play forced Bianconeri's goalkeeper John Gulia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Fredrik Hylander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. John Gulia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Bianconeri getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. In the 93rd minute, Emanuel Avellino made a precise shot to the right of John Gulia. Bianconeri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. Victoria's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
