Spectators: 8100 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Paul Preca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Everardo Pasqual made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Peter Paul Preca sent off a good shot on target. After 6 played minutes Norrlands Guld got a freekick which was hit by Mario Bezzina. Mark Fenech Adami's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederick Hili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Banter FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Amadeo Agius hit a great ball. Ethan Musu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Frederick Hili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Fenech Adami went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Christopher Barbara made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kiran Kalb immediately put the ball in play. Martin Conti made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clyde De Giovanni. Frederick Hili came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Guld's Mark Fenech Adami. But to his dismay, Mark Fenech Adami quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Peter Paul Preca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banter FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Paul Preca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Pasqual breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Norrlands Guld's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Paul Testa came free, but Everardo Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Everardo Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Paul Testa in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mark Fenech Adami's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederick Hili was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Mark Fenech Adami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederick Hili having to make a save. The supporters of Norrlands Guld booed when Banter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Paul Asciak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everardo Pasqual showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Paul Preca in the 89th minute of the match. Banter FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mark Fenech Adami 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Chants of Norrlands Guld echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Banter FC had held the ball for most of the match.
