Spectators: 10775 (Terracing: 8158, Seating: 2400, VIP seats: 217) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alan Said took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Ponticella Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Said came free, but Asso Kullamaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Sebastian Ekelund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attard Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ciro Tieri hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Asso Kullamaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Ekelund in the 10th minute of the match. Sebastian Ekelund might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Asso Kullamaa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Ekelund ran back to his position shaking his head. Asso Kullamaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ştefan Corbu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Attard Gunners's Jay Jowsey got control of the ball when Edgar Sigfridsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Ponticella Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ekelund came free, but Asso Kullamaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's Alan Said sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asso Kullamaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Sigfridsson got free with Jay Jowsey in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Edgar Sigfridsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Jowsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Edgar Sigfridsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attard Gunners's Jay Jowsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Sebastian Ekelund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asso Kullamaa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jay Jowsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Borg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Ekelund in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asso Kullamaa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Ekelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Edgar Sigfridsson made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ponticella Stars fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Sebastian Ekelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asso Kullamaa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Ponticella Stars got a freekick which was hit by Hamir Lum. Sebastian Ekelund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Asso Kullamaa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, Attard Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Naudi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ponticella Stars's Asso Kullamaa got control of the ball when Sebastian Ekelund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Asso Kullamaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Ekelund in the 73rd minute of the match. If Alan Said had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ponticella Stars made a substitution. Sean McMaster replaced Adrian Lowell. 80 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's Sebastian Ekelund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asso Kullamaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ponticella Stars made a substitution. John Dingli replaced Tomi Ita. Attard Gunners's Adrian Savona was substituted for Sebastian Ekelund. Ponticella Stars's Josh Carbonaro was substituted for Ciro Tieri. In the 83rd minute of the match Attard Gunners got a corner. Ponticella Stars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Godwin Sapiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 86 minutes into the match, Ponticella Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Savona came free, but Asso Kullamaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asso Kullamaa came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Attard Gunners's Adrian Savona. But to his dismay, Adrian Savona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Adrian Savona scored 0-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asso Kullamaa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Attard Gunners players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
