Kim Bolas took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francesco Ciantar. Francesco Ciantar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Kim Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Ciantar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Francesco Ciantar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Bolas in the 11th minute of the match. Kim Bolas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francesco Ciantar having to make a save. Francesco Ciantar made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Kim Bolas sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Buġibba Youngsters booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Kim Bolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Ciantar. Buġibba Youngsters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Bolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Kim Bolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francesco Ciantar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kim Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Ciantar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Buġibba Youngsters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zach Decesare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Bolas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francesco Ciantar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Bolas ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolai Gerada came free, but Barrie Kerridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Buġibba Youngsters's zone, Kim Bolas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Ciantar came out of the goal and Kim Bolas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 played minutes Buġibba Youngsters got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Dimech. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Bolas in the 35th minute of play forced Buġibba Youngsters's goalkeeper Francesco Ciantar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leszek Cupial received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Francesco Ciantar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baran Erozan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Francesco Ciantar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nikolai Gerada was the one to do the kick off. Zach Decesare made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sliema Dragons FC's Edinho de Queirós. 60 minutes into the game, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francesco Ciantar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the Buġibba Youngsters defense, Kim Bolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Ciantar. The Buġibba Youngsters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Ciantar should have stopped the shot. After 66 minutes of play, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francesco Ciantar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Bolas in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Ciantar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 minutes, Kim Bolas made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Buġibba Youngsters's Francesco Ciantar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Matteo Borda replaced 周斐俊. Dejan Cassar succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. After having played for 81 minutes, Dejan Cassar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dejan Cassar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buġibba Youngsters made a substitution. Luigi Schembri Zerafa replaced Nikolai Zammit. Sliema Dragons FC's Barrie Kerridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolai Gerada in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dejan Cassar in the 85th minute of play forced Buġibba Youngsters's goalkeeper Francesco Ciantar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikolai Gerada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barrie Kerridge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buġibba Youngsters's goalie prevented a goal. Francesco Ciantar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dejan Cassar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nikolai Gerada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sliema Dragons FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Buġibba Youngsters for a fine match.
