Marin Arsovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KF. Shkëndija's Ilmi Smilev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Arsovski in the 16th minute of play. Kostadin Alii's late challenge caught a Izvori Banjica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kostadin Alii helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Izvori Banjica booed when KF. Shkëndija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostadin Alii didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Del Carney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izvori Banjica's Robert Bislimi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Del Carney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Bislimi having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Savo Nikolov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilmi Smilev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Izvori Banjica's goal looked a bit too open when Kostadin Alii came free, but Robert Bislimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Del Carney scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Bislimi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Del Carney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Naste Novakovski struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Robert Bislimi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KF. Shkëndija. Izvori Banjica's Robert Bislimi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Izvori Banjica from getting a goal against them. Jane Pandilovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Robert Bislimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Del Carney dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robert Bislimi, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savo Nikolov in the 79th minute of play forced KF. Shkëndija's goalkeeper Ilmi Smilev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Izvori Banjica's zone, Jane Pandilovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Bislimi came out of the goal and Jane Pandilovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Bislimi came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by KF. Shkëndija's Nestor Milev. But to his dismay, Nestor Milev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Del Carney's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Robert Bislimi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Del Carney put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Robert Bislimi. KF. Shkëndija's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
