The audience was convinced that Rade Hristovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teut Jovičič was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Cvetanov to make the kick off. When Ilija Jovčevski fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamište's protests and gave Ilija Jovčevski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Jamište was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilija Jovčevski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Cvetanov in the 64th minute of play forced Jamište's goalkeeper Teut Jovičič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ljube Pejovič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Najden Emini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Cvetanov succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After 81 played minutes Jamište got a freekick which was hit by Ilija Jovčevski. Jamište's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Antonio Cvetanov 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Ilir Ognjanovič made a great header on Jamište's corner, it was just that Fc. Ajax Amsterdam's Najden Emini managed to reach the ball for a save. Blagojče Kjani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Najden Emini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fc. Ajax Amsterdam walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
