If Paulo José Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Young Boys's goalkeeper Arsenij Jankovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo José Guimarães scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodor Carevski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 53rd minute of the match Slavoljub Nedev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenij Jankovski skillfully saved the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Jordan Mojsovski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenij Jankovski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Mihail Pandev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dzon Kenedi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Dzon Kenedi's Teodor Carevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdravko Hajdaraga in the 62nd minute of play. Ramazan Ilmen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Teodor Carevski made a huge save. Arsenij Jankovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Nakjev in the 72nd minute of the match. Jonče Gacev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Mihail Pandev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Teodor Carevski managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Young Boys's Ramazan Ilmen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zdravko Hajdaraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Carevski having to interfere. Paulo José Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Dzon Kenedi's Teodor Carevski got control of the ball when Ramazan Ilmen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Dzon Kenedi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Young Boys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
