The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kiril Filipovski made a kick off. After 54 played minutes University of Edinburgh got a freekick which was hit by Radoslav Stefanovski. 56 minutes into the match, Dzon Kenedi's Vuk Sekulovski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boris Jakovlevski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodor Carevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiril Filipovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Stanislav Nakjev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dzon Kenedi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave University of Edinburgh the free kick. Stanislav Nakjev hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Teodor Carevski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mile Jordanovski got free with Teodor Carevski in the 101st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
