The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Makedonija.G.P getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cvetan Zaharievski hit a great ball. Gorobinci Napredok's Branko Nedelkoski got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panče Aleksov got free with Zdravko Mateski in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Makedonija.G.P's Blerim Mitkovski got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Mihajlo Božovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Živko Kaevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Branko Nedelkoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Mihajlo Božovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Živko Kaevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Makedonija.G.P's goal looked a bit too open when Mihajlo Božovič came free, but Živko Kaevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Branko Nedelkoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Živko Kaevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihajlo Božovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Gorobinci Napredok's goalkeeper Zdravko Mateski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cvetko Kralev. In the 29th minute, Vuk Petrovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Makedonija.G.P got a freekick which was hit by Cvetko Kralev. Živko Kaevski came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gorobinci Napredok's Alek Bogatinov. But to his dismay, Alek Bogatinov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Mihajlo Božovič had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Živko Kaevski. Makedonija.G.P's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihajlo Božovič was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Živko Kaevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ordan Nestorov in the 42nd minute of play. Gorobinci Napredok's Zdravko Mateski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Gorobinci Napredok from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blerim Mitkovski to make the kick off. Živko Kaevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branko Nedelkoski in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Makedonija.G.P defense, Mihajlo Božovič kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Živko Kaevski. The Makedonija.G.P fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Živko Kaevski should have stopped the shot. Živko Kaevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihajlo Božovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Alek Bogatinov took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Živko Kaevski to make any attempt to save it. Makedonija.G.P's Živko Kaevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ordan Nestorov in the 63rd minute of play. Živko Kaevski made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mihajlo Božovič sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cvetko Kralev in the 68th minute of play forced Gorobinci Napredok's goalkeeper Zdravko Mateski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Živko Kaevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branko Nedelkoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Gorobinci Napredok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alek Bogatinov to maneuver through the defense. Vuk Petrovič lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Makedonija.G.P:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gorobinci Napredok:s goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Branko Nedelkoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorobinci Napredok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Branko Nedelkoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Živko Kaevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihajlo Božovič in the 90th minute of the match. Živko Kaevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihajlo Božovič went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihajlo Božovič got free with Živko Kaevski in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Živko Kaevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek Bogatinov in the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Gorobinci Napredok left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Makedonija.G.P.
