This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Miša Bošnjaku as he didn't even see the shot coming. Teut Nakovski might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miša Bošnjaku. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teut Nakovski ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ostoja Georgievski in the 20th minute of play forced Juventus FC's goalkeeper Razmo Ivanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Nikifor Nedzipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Teofil Taleski put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Razmo Ivanov. 27 minutes into the game, Besim Trajanovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miša Bošnjaku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menduh Vasič in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofil Taleski made a kick off. Teut Nakovski scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miša Bošnjaku, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Menduh Vasič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juventus FC's Razmo Ivanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Taleski in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of FC Lyon booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dragiša Frašeri struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Miša Bošnjaku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus FC. In the 82ndth minute of the game Teut Nakovski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lyon's Miša Bošnjaku was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, Dragiša Frašeri made a precise shot to the right of Miša Bošnjaku. FC Lyon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Dragiša Frašeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Miša Bošnjaku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
