An unexpectedly hard shot by Tase Cvetkovič in the 9th minute of play forced NK BOROVO's goalkeeper Francisco Lledias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Lledias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elek Vadas in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elazar Osa in the 14th minute of play forced NK BOROVO's goalkeeper Francisco Lledias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, VUKOVAR 91 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Nordgren to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Stojkovič in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josif Davidovski saved VUKOVAR 91 from getting behind. In the 17th minute, NK BOROVO's 程振明 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Josif Davidovski. Josif Davidovski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. NK BOROVO's Francisco Lledias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elek Vadas in the 24th minute of play. VUKOVAR 91's Elek Vadas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adan Alonso in the 26 minute of the game. Tase Cvetkovič took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Lledias. Francisco Lledias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Francisco Lledias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tase Cvetkovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josif Davidovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Stojkovič in the 33rd minute. A collision led to VUKOVAR 91 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Elazar Osa hit a great ball. Igor Stojkovič in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Josif Davidovski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 44 minutes, Djordje Muslimi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VUKOVAR 91 and the NK BOROVO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Djordje Muslimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
