REAL MADRID's Iljo Davitkovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abd al-Aziz Sadmi in the 4th minute of play. Viktor Dimovski kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Mitre Pavlovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winfried Spegele having to interfere. Viktor Dimovski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes, Viktor Dimovski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REAL MADRID and the Rožden Partizan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes REAL MADRID got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Dimovski. Mitre Pavlovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rožden Partizan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! 24 minutes into the game, Jonko Nano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Winfried Spegele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the game, Trajko Acevski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REAL MADRID's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rožden Partizan the free kick. A collision led to REAL MADRID getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Trajko Acevski hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihajlo Nikolič in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Winfried Spegele saved Rožden Partizan from getting behind. After 39 minutes, Nathanaël Donne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rožden Partizan and the REAL MADRID players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Rožden Partizan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathanaël Donne to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mihajlo Nikolič managed to get in a good position for a shot. REAL MADRID's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihajlo Nikolič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Winfried Spegele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rožden Partizan's zone, Mihajlo Nikolič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Winfried Spegele came out of the goal and Mihajlo Nikolič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nathanaël Donne made the kick off in the second half. Winfried Spegele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihajlo Nikolič, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute Mihajlo Nikolič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winfried Spegele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitre Pavlovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Winfried Spegele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Mitre Pavlovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Winfried Spegele. Rožden Partizan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mitre Pavlovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. REAL MADRID's Iljo Davitkovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save REAL MADRID from getting a goal against them. After having played for 75 minutes, Mihajlo Nikolič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL MADRID's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihajlo Nikolič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Winfried Spegele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihajlo Nikolič, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Mitre Pavlovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winfried Spegele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winfried Spegele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitre Pavlovski in the 83rd minute of the match. Mihajlo Nikolič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winfried Spegele having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitre Pavlovski in the 86th minute of play forced Rožden Partizan's goalkeeper Winfried Spegele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Mihajlo Nikolič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winfried Spegele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mitre Pavlovski came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the REAL MADRID fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitre Pavlovski couldn't finish the play. Nathanaël Donne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. REAL MADRID's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
