Long Hanborough United's Karlheinz Abendroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Pritchard in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Long Hanborough United booed when Leconfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wally Moody didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlheinz Abendroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Pritchard in the 56th minute of the match. Teddy Baum hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Gibson in the 63rd minute of play forced Long Hanborough United's goalkeeper Karlheinz Abendroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ollie Gibson in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karlheinz Abendroth saved Long Hanborough United from getting behind. Ben Pritchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Long Hanborough United's Alfred Hauck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack Howlett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ollie Gibson struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Karlheinz Abendroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leconfield. Ollie Gibson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlheinz Abendroth having to interfere.
