In the 2nd minute, Freddie Simon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Rëmeleng United booed when Luxembourg Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix von Axelson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Schröder's late challenge caught a Rëmeleng United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Schröder helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Luxembourg Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Schröder. In the 16th minute of the match Joel Bamberger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elmar Auspitz skillfully saved the ball. Teddy Seimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmar Auspitz having to interfere. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Teddy Seimetz sped through Luxembourg Youth Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elmar Auspitz. In the 27th minute, one of Luxembourg Youth Academy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luxembourg Youth Academy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Balmer in the 36th minute of play forced Luxembourg Youth Academy's goalkeeper Elmar Auspitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Uhlenbrock hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Lazlo Rauschenberger fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elmar Auspitz, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lazlo Rauschenberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rëmeleng United's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazlo Rauschenberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elmar Auspitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lazlo Rauschenberger to strike the kick off in the second half. Elmar Auspitz came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rëmeleng United's Nick Balmer. But to his dismay, Nick Balmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 58thth minute of the game Teddy Seimetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luxembourg Youth Academy's Elmar Auspitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luxembourg Youth Academy's Elmar Auspitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazlo Rauschenberger in the 59th minute of play. Pol Aumeier charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pol Aumeier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Pol Aumeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lazlo Rauschenberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmar Auspitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazlo Rauschenberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gregory Pfannmöller kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Elmar Auspitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Seimetz in the 83rd minute of the match. Pol Aumeier hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes of play Luxembourg Youth Academy's Pol Aumeier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Luxembourg Youth Academy getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Pol Aumeier hit a great ball. If Lazlo Rauschenberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lazlo Rauschenberger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elmar Auspitz was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
