Spectators: 8456 (Terracing: 6343, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Gustav Meyers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danny Hopf having to make a save. Danny Hopf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Meyers in the 4th minute of play. Gustav Meyers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Danny Hopf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Cristiano RONALDO got a freekick which was hit by Luka Lützel. After having played for 12 minutes, Bjorn Axmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oswaldtwistle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bjorn Axmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Florian Bärwald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Otto in the 20th minute of play forced Cristiano RONALDO's goalkeeper Bruno Oberweis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes, Oswaldtwistle FC's Simon Redoute shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Oberweis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oswaldtwistle FC reached it. Ernie Schneider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano RONALDO's Bruno Oberweis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bodo Habich in the 31st minute of play. If Bjorn Axmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bjorn Axmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Oberweis having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Bjorn Axmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Oberweis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 49th minute when Bodo Habich elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Meyers was the one to do the kick off. Cristiano RONALDO were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Oswaldtwistle FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mark Nassau-Weilburg took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cristiano RONALDO's corner Mark Nassau-Weilburg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Danny Hopf quite easily take care of the ball. Gustav Meyers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danny Hopf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Schneider in the 65th minute of play. Simon Redoute took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Oberweis. Cristiano RONALDO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Oswaldtwistle FC's zone, Ernie Schneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Hopf came out of the goal and Ernie Schneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cristiano RONALDO's Andreas Krier got a free kick in the 77th minute. A hard shot by Luka Schlaustein from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Bruno Oberweis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjorn Axmann in the 86th minute of play forced Cristiano RONALDO's goalkeeper Bruno Oberweis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Cristiano RONALDO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bodo Habich fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Oswaldtwistle FC's zone, Gustav Meyers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Hopf came out of the goal and Gustav Meyers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
