Perry Townson started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Perry Townson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sam Finkelstein. Chazon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perry Townson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sam Finkelstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Townson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Christof Pröll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Dingle having to interfere. Sam Finkelstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lloyd Searle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Perry Townson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perry Townson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sam Finkelstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Jan Diederich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chazon FC and the Abbey Wood players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Chazon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Diederich to maneuver through the defense. The Chazon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abbey Wood were winning 0-1.

Johnny West lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 53 minutes into the game, one of Abbey Wood:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Florian Bismarck placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Christof Pröll in the 58th minute of play forced Abbey Wood's goalkeeper Joe Dingle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Thill scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joe Dingle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abbey Wood's Lloyd Searle got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zack Eslworth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lloyd Searle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the game, Abbey Wood's Joey Argent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sam Finkelstein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Joe Dingle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Thill's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Daniel Thill struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Joe Dingle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chazon FC. Daniel Thill scored 2-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joe Dingle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Abbey Wood's Zack Eslworth got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Florian Bismarck, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lloyd Searles short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Sam Finkelstein to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Abbey Wood were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Chazon FC to leave the ground with a draw.
